In April 2010, Hawaii passed a Bill that effective July 1, 2010 all real estate transactions in Hawaii must be handled by a licensed Hawaii escrow company. The Bill is SB2921 SD1 HD1. Because we are located in Hawaii and had many escrows at Westin Ka anapali OceanResortVillas, Marriott’s Maui Ocean Club, Ka anapali Beach Club and Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Hilton Hawaiian Village with Hawaii Escrow, the transition was an easy one for us.
